  Second trip to Happy Days Lodge this spring, this time we combined a spring bear hunt with fishing. Dylan was a fantastic bear guide and assisted two hunters in our party who both shot nice boars within the first two days and each saw multiple bears at the stands. I can't say enough good things about the great hospitality provided by the entire Zimmerman family who work tirelessly around the clock to insure everyone has a great vacation. Windemere Lake has incredible scenery and fantastic fishing for walleye and smallmouth bass. We caught over 40 walleye in a few hours during one of our best outings. Super clean and well maintained facilities... would highly recommend this place.

  Spent a week here in July. Awesome place, attentive staff, clean facilities. We caught walleye, pike and smallmouth bass all week.

  Been 3 times, and will keep going back. The Zimmermans are wonderful folks that work very hard to see that we have a good experience. Can't say enough good about the splendor of the setting, and the quality of people at HDL.

  The owners and staff here will go out of their way to accommodate you the view is awesome the fishing is great it's worth the trip

  We've been going here for about 13 years. Great place to escape for a while and enjoy some fishing. Staff is friendly and personable. Has plenty of camp sites and cabin options able to fit most party sizes. You can rent or bring your own boat. I look forward to coming here every year. If your looking for a place to escape the modern world for a while, this should definitely be on your list.
